At Northwoods Dobermans, we believe time with our Dobermans is never long enough. That belief is the foundation of our Regal Legacy philosophy—a commitment to producing Dobermans that are not only beautiful, but healthy, emotionally stable, and deeply bonded to their families.

Northwoods Dobermans has been thoughtfully breeding Dobermans since our first whelping in 2008. Over the years, our program has earned the trust of veterinarians, fellow breeders, and local rescue organizations.

We provide lifelong breeder support to every Northwoods Doberman family. If at any point a family can no longer keep their dog, we require that the dog be returned to us, regardless of age or circumstance. This policy protects our dogs, our bloodlines, and the integrity of the breed.
Our puppies are placed with intention. While families may have preferences, we believe placement should be based on temperament, personality, and lifestyle compatibility.
Because we raise and evaluate each puppy daily, we are best equipped to guide this process. Proper placement ensures each puppy can thrive—and that our Regal Legacy Dobermans grow into confident, fulfilled adults.
Families are always included in the process and may discuss or object to a proposed match. Our goal is collaboration and long-term success.

We’re excited to announce the birth of our Legacy Litter on December 23, 2025! These Black & Rust and Red & Rust puppies are raised in-home using ENS, Puppy Culture, and early kennel training to ensure confidence, health, and excellent temperament.
