This method works great for dogs that are prone to ear infections as the post doesn’t go down into the ear canal

Ear Posting Using The Zip Tie Method

One of the many other ways to post a Dobermans ears is by using the zip tie method. We have never tried it ourselves as the backer rod method has gotten us through all of our postin needs
